Committee stage of Divorce (Financial Provision) Bill scheduled for 23 November
The Divorce (Financial Provision) Bill is scheduled to commence its Committee stage – ie line by line examination of the Bill – in the House of Lords on 23 November.
The Bill, sponsored by Baroness Deech, seeks to amend the Matrimonial Causes Act 1973 and make provision in connection with financial settlements following divorce.
