Family Law Awards – Frank Arndt shortlisted

Paradigm Family Law‘s Managing Partner and Head of International Family Law, Frank Arndt has been shortlisted for International Family Lawyer in this year’s prestigious Family Law Awards.

The other nominees are Tim Amos QC of Queen Elizabeth Building, Mandeep Gill of International Family Law Group LLP and Lisa Fabian Lustigman at Withers LLP.

The Great and the Good

The Family Law Awards recognise the great and the good in many aspects of Family Law. The awards will be held on 8 October, and anyone who’s anyone in family law will be in attendance.

Nominated

The nomination represents a significant endorsement of Frank’s expertise in the area of international family law and recognises his outstanding flair and talent in this complex and challenging area of legal practice. Of his nomination Frank said:

I’m exceptionally pleased to have been shortlisted for such a prestigious award. It represents recognition of my worldwide trusted network of experienced International Family Lawyers. We all put very hard work in to make sure our clients get the best advice.”

Credentials

Frank’s credentials are testament to the fact that he will be rubbing shoulders with the family law alumni at the gala event in the Autumn. He is a dual qualified Solicitor in England & Wales and Rechtsanwalt in Germany. He is also a qualified Judge in Germany.

He has considerable expertise in high profile or ‘big money’ financial relief cases with complex onshore or offshore business or company and trust structures. Frank deals with cases including inherited or pre-acquired wealth issues, concealment or dissipation of assets and he regularly advises on difficult enforcement cases with international aspects. His areas of specialism also include complex worldwide freezing orders, cases with pre-nuptial and separation agreements or Civil Partnership disputes.

Frank regularly receives referrals from his worldwide established and experienced international network in relation to foreign divorces or application brought pursuant to the MPFA 1984 Act. The referrals also include cases with a “forum shopping” element or contested international jurisdiction disputes. He regularly acts for clients in Schedule I Children Act 1989 cases with an international aspect and has acted for fathers and mothers in International Child Abduction Cases.

Media appearances

In addition to these talents, he has appeared regularly on television, radio and in newspapers having featured on BBC One, ITV This Morning, CNBC, ABC News, VOX Media, FT, Forbes, LeFigaro, FAZ (Germany) to name but a few.

Internationally recognised

Frank is also a member of the International Bar Association, International Society of Family Law, ReUnited and the German Bar at the Federal Court in Celle (“Oberlandesgericht Celle”) and the Family Mediators Association.

Awards Season

Frank’s nomination follows fast on the heels of Paradigm Family Law‘s nomination for New Business of the Year and Small Business of the Year and is testament to the achievements of the practice in such a short space of time since we opened our doors at the end of 2014.

Paradigm Family Law is keeping everything crossed until the Autumn when the results of the Awards are decided. Until then Frank and fellow Managing Partner, James will continue to build on the solid foundations upon which the firm has been built. Who knows, maybe they can strive towards a nomination for ‘Family Law Firm of the Year’ in 2016 – now there’s a thought.
